
Prof. Dr. Ilhan Ikilic
He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1990. After graduating from the departments of Philosophy, Oriental Studies and Oriental Language Philology at Bochum-Ruhr University in Germany, he completed a master's and doctorate in Philosophy. He worked on scientific projects at Tübingen University and Bochum University. İlkılıç, who wrote and taught habilitation at the Medical School of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, conducted scientific research at Georgetown University and Duke Universities in the USA. He was a visiting professor at the University of Frankfurt for two semesters. In 2012, Prof. Dr. He was appointed by Norbert Lammert. Since the end of 2012, he has been teaching at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of History of Medicine and Ethics, and since 2015, he has been the head of the same department.
